Losing weight at 4'11"?

Hello. I'm 4'11". I think I'm around 8 stone. I'd like to lose just a stone. I was recently on medication, and for some reason it caused me to become very emotional and obsess over food in an unhealthy way. I have had some problems with food in the past. So, this is the reason I now have a weighing scale again and have started reusing this website.

I have stopped taking this medication now. But, I would still like to lose weight, but in a healthy way. I was just wondering whether anyone could confirm that 1,200 calories is an amount that I would lose on. I am just feeling somewhat confused and unhappy now, that I have restarted with calorie counting. I was restricting, but obviously this makes it difficult to concentrate on study, so that I have been unproductive. I am becoming confused with balancing study and weight loss. If I would still lose weight on 1,200, that would make me happy as I feel this is enough food. At the same time, it concerns me that others taller than me eat 1,200.

I am just kind of confused, because I am not very happy that food has now become an 'issue' again, but at the same time I think if I could just establish how much I should be eating, that would be helpful. I am not interested in being less than 7 stone. I think I put on over-much weight when recovering from an ED. I think also, that I was not eating 'properly'. Is 1,200 the correct amount for someone so short, or is it too much? Thanks for any help. I think I can lose weight healthily, but input would be helpful.
