FORMER Anorexic.. Looking to lose weight SAFE and HEALTHLY

Hi Everybody,

I have had eating disorders since the age of 8, I am now 25. I have recently put on about 10lbs in a week due to emotional eating. I have used this app in past, on my phone solely, and found it a great app to use. I always knew I was getting enough calories, and I tracked everything, and I loved the fact it told me how much I burned exercising so I could regulate my diet that day to accommodate the calories I had burned. In the past I used this app and lost 50lbs, and I did it HEALTHY!! I am again turning to this app, both on my phone and the site, to lose the weight I have put on, and then maintain. I am open to questions about my past, if you have any- BUT I will, under no circumstance, give "tips" or "tricks". Anorexia is a SERIOUS and DEADLY disease. Not a "lifestyle" or "diet"..

I was recently given a range of weights by 4 separate doctors, some wanting me as high as 115lbs and others wanting me as low as 94lbs.. I have spoken to a very well trusted friend, who is also a physician and she has recommended 110lbs for my body type and structure and the highest, and no lower than 101lbs. I am seeking a happy medium.. perhaps around 103lbs-106lbs.

I hope to find friends who will support me as I, again, lose weight in a healthy and safe manner. Eating disorder survivors, and those looking to be healthy, I would love your support especially (that includes Anorexia, Bulimia, and Compulsive Over Eaters). But I am looking to make friends in general!

I would love to help support you! Good luck!!
  • Hi there! I would love to help provide some support as well! I have never personally dealt with a full blown eating disorder; however, I am extremely self-conscious on how I look. Thus, I really am focused on trying to maintain a healthy lifestyle. I am really glad to hear you have been able to overcome this disease though. One of my really good friends has struggled with it off and on and I really feel for her.
