Calorie intake

Hello!
I'm on a 1200 calorie diet, and it seems to be getting easier and easier. One main reason is I am not drinking my calories! Yesterday I didn't eat 1200. (only 1060!) and I wasn't hungry at all. Same thing today. I'm only at 888 calories right now. Should I eat more to get to 1200 even though I am not hungry? I don't want to put my body into starvation mode.

I personally couldn't eat only 1200 calories a day... I'm at 1500 and I still get a bit hungry during the day! :P
If you're working out as well, I'd recommend eating back the calories you burn... otherwise you may start feeling weak and tired from lack of nutrition.
If 1200 net calories works for you, keep at it! If you feel yourself getting too hungry and over-eating some days... then I'd recommend upping your calories. Make sure you're getting all the vitamins and nutrients you need too.0 -

It didn't work as well for me but I think it may have to do more with the fact that I have hypothyroidism and my doctor is still trying to get my medication right but a lot of people on this site seem to have a lot of success with that method from the link I posted ♥0 -
I would say yes at least eat the 1200. I would be afraid to send my body to starvation mode and/or plateau sooner0
