Hello all! I posted this in the IPOARM group but didn't get any responses, so I'm hoping a wider community can help!
I need help figuring out how many calories I should eat a day! I know it is laid out in black and white in the IPOARM thread BUT I had a bod pod test done, and it gives me different calculations than what I get from Fat 2 Fit Radio. Also I work out about 6 days a week, and mix it up, running for 3-5 miles, weight machines, exercise videos (like JM 30DS) etc. I think I would consider myself moderately active.
Ok so I got myself measured in the BodPod.
Info:
Female
21 years
Height 62 inches
Current Weight 136.3 lbs
BF 29%
According to the BodPod:
RMR - 1205 cal/day
TDEE
sedentary - 1494
Low active - 1832
Active - 2097
Very Active - 2494
According to Fat2Fit:
BMR - 1322
Sedentary - 1729
Lighty Active - 1981
Mod Active - 2234
Very Active - 2486
So as you can see, the differences in my BMR and between the two are pretty different, and I don't like the idea of only having about 1600 calories to eat each day, (I get pretty hungry). Please give me some insight to which one I should follow! Thanks!!
