When did you start seeing results on 30 DS?

Hi, I just wanted to know from people who did this program when they started to see results? I finished L1 D8 and think I'm ready to move to L2, but don't see any results yet. Inputs?

  • I'd like to know too! I'm on day 4 after restarting again. I haven't noticed any visual changes yet, but havent really checked.

    What weight did you start at? I'm starting at 148, I've eaten 1200 but not 4 meals like Jillian recommends, more of all at once. I hope that's not my downfall.

    I'm on day 21 and I can see myself geting more tone. I don't own a scale, but it's definitely making a big difference in my strength and ability to handle harder workouts.

    There's a 30 Day group for the DS that was just started on April 1st you girls may be interested in! Keep in mind that the second week is a lot longer. The weighted lunges in the second week were too much for me, but I'll be interested to see if I can do them now that I took some time off...either that or I need an alternate for that exercise for my joints. I'm not as young as I used to be.

    I've heard it doesnt matter how often you eat for weight loss. I am starting somewhere around 200 lbs. I dont have access to a scale, btu the last time I was on one it said 198 and I hadn't started exercising or changing what I ate for a couple weeks to a month after that. I feel stronger, at the very least. I'm also eating more around 1600-2000 cals a day depending on exercises, not following her plan.

    After 10 days of level 1 I felt stronger.

    Tell me how eating 1200 calories while exercising makes sense?

    I was part of a group of people who did 30DS during March so I just finished.

    It's the second time I've done the shred and both times I've lost no weight at all, in fact I actually gain a couple of pounds (I'm told water retention when muscles repair themselves after starting a new workout programme).

    Having said that, I got decent inch loss both times and people who haven't seen me for a bit have asked if I've lost weight, so it does have positive effects. So my tip is definitely measure yourself as well as weighing as you may shrink but the scales don't show it for everyone.

    You'll see results each day in how much further you can push yourself and how strong you feel. :smile:

    Just by the commercials about insanity I suspect 30ds is easier. But that's just a guess by someone who hasn't tried insanity

    I feel stronger, no doubt. I was the girl who would contemplate a thousand times before opening my laptop to start JM but that's changed now. But no inch loss.

    Hmm...maybe I should wait a little longer.
