Am I eating enough calories?

I have set my goal on MFP to 1000 calories a day. Although sometimes I get in lots of exercise so once I have eaten, and the calories I have worked off are taken off I sometimes have 400 or so calories left.
But I try to stick to between 1000 - 1200 a day and not eat more if I exercise more as then I feel like the exercise was pointless because I have then just eaten it back again lol.

I am 5 ft 2 and weight 128.5lbs. Average bmi and weight. I am quite slim but have a huge tummy.

Trying hard to be healthy, but dont understand where to be to avoid starvation mode and where to be to actually lose something?

I am the same height as you and in the same position, I have a wobbly tummy and from MY point of view (usually looking down LOL) it is still big.

I really think you need to eat more, I hear so many people waffle on about this TDEE stuff and whatever, but actually in your case 1000 calories is WAY to little.

I am have upped my calories to about 1400(ish) but trying to keep it healthy. I also work out 3x a week at the gym with minimal cardio and more strength training (bodyweight and weights)
