Bulk Up

Hi Guys and Gals

I have been on here since January and doing really well. I am at the stage now where I want to bulk up.

I am going to keep with my running as this has helped me lose inches off my stomach only a couple more to go.

I want to bulk my upper body the most any body else in the same boat as me?

    Not in the same boat, but good luck. Remember TDEE + for bulking. Don't do it like me and just keep bulking and bulking then you're like oh damn now I gained too much! Easier to gain, harder to lose IMO.

    My opinion... (based on experience)

    If you are running while trying to bulk, its going to make the process seem much slower ... and its going to involved you having to eat a whole lot more ... I try to eat almost 4500 Calories a day, just to net 2500 (Which is right at maintain for me). I have eliminated a lot of my cardio, I ride the bike once or twice a week, but the majority of my cardio is done in reps :) I can try to answer any questions you have, with what I have learned and my own experiences, so feel free to PM me if you want.

    I am trying to bulk up here too. I am doing Stronglifts 5x5 (on week 5 now) and so far am really happy with the progress and can see a difference in my upper body. I do cardio on my rest days although not as intense as I did while losing weight.

    Thanks guys I need to keep up with my running as I still want to be fit along with having the muscles def.

    I need to up my cal intake that's the major thing I think for me.
