so heres a history .... i gave up my house and pension job to move 8 hours away from the place i called home my entire life for my step daughter. so armed with a college education i took a job at tim hortons and applied to the local long term care home that was back in november.

Well, they called me yesterday shortly after 4 pm and they have a job offer for me. i meet this morning at 10 am to read the offer and decide if i accept or not. ( id be stupid not to accept) the rate of pay is already double what i make atm and i can keep my current job if i want to as they will work around any schedule i need them to work around.

SOOOO excited i CAN NOT wait until 10 this morning!!!

such a HUGE step forward and in the right direction again!

    Thank- you ..... i think the fact that i have called at LEAST once a week since november and went to the location to intorduce myself to the director of care a month ago because i was tired of not getting an offer showed my determination! ..... im just glad to be back on the track to a pension before im 55!
