For me it goes back to high school wrestling and the movie "Vision Quest". Plus it had a great sound track. I spent many hours running to it to make weight. Some slow songs but fast forwarded past them on my "Walkman". "Walkman" was the ipod of the '80s for those of you chronoloically insufficient.

Remember The Titans...that movie speaks volumes about perserverance and persistence
I recently watched The Blind Side and thought that is was wonderful...along the same lines as RTT and just influential.
Facing The Giants is a Christian based movie also about football (I'm not even a big football fan and yet the only three motivationl movies I truly enjoy are all football related, lol) and having to overcome lifes speedbumps and push though them.

Those were the same three I was thinking of! And not just because they're football, but because they're based on true stories. Same reason why I also LOVE We Are Marshall; now that's perserverence!:drinker:

The Shawshank Redemption - I love the fact that he was able to become a success even in a terrible circumstance. Some people just rise to the top no matter where they are or what happens to them.
