Down 20+ Pounds!

I weighed in today, and I'm officially down more than 20 pounds (closer to 21-22). I didn't start MFP until after I had already lost some weight, so that is why it only indicates I've lost 12 pounds. I'm also feeling extra good because a pair of jeans that couldn't make it past my thighs in November fit more than comfortably now.
I was really beating myself up because I overindulged Easter weekend. I normally log just about everything I eat, but I stopped because I was disgusted with myself. It’s nice to know I didn’t undo months of hard work due to the fact that I couldn’t stop myself from eating everything in front of me on Saturday and Sunday. And I mean EVERYTHING.
I absolutely believe in treating myself here and there (especially on the weekend). However, I don’t intend to repeat this past weekend any time soon. It wasn’t worth how crappy I felt about myself, not to mention how bloated I was and the acne that broke out all over my face. It was a clear indicator I went too far with what I ate.
Anyway, ending on a positive note: the weekend is over and I’m moving forward. To quote my Yogi Tea from this morning: “Those who live in the past limit their future.”
Good luck on your journey, y’all.
