Hi there....I'm looking to purchase a HRM. I'm thinking a Polar Brand, but am torn between the FT4, FT40, or the FT7. What do you recommend?

    I think mine is an FT7 and I love it. HOWEVER, I can't change the batteries in the chest strap, and after about a year's worth of use, the battery died and I had to buy a new chest strap. I've read that you can change the batteries yourself in the FT4. That is what I'm going to go to if mine ever craps out of me. I've heard great things about it.

    Vote for FT4, but check out youtube for videos/tutorials on the HRMs you're considering and see if you can determine which one will work best for you?
