While I know I focus on the scale WAY too much, I have been making efforts to set fitness goals each month and to track everything. Here are my results so far.

From 12/29/12-04/03/13

Pounds Lost: 31.4
Inches Lost (1/07/13-03/12/13): 37.5
January
- Calories Burned: 24,860
- Miles Walked: 86.36
- Goal: Burn 750 calories 4x a week - MET
February
- Calories Burned: 13,120
- Miles Walked: 34.66
- Goal: Do Fluidity Video 2x a week - 1/4 weeks
- Goal: Walk at least 2.0 miles 3x a week - 3/4 weeks
- Goal: Do 30 Day Shred every day - 2/4 weeks
- Even though I didn't meet my goals this month due to a knee injury, I did not let it totally derail my progress.
March
- Calories Burned: 22,554
- Miles Walked: 57.9
- Goal: Do Fluidity Video 2x a week - MET
- Goal: Walk at least 2.0 miles 3x a week - MET
- Goal: Do 30 Day Shred or Ripped in 30 every day - MET
- I came back from my injury, completed the 30DS challenge and am now making great progress on the Ri30 challenge.

I'm very proud of this effort and the fact that this is the longest I've stuck with something like this.

Woohoo Congrats to you. You are an inspiration. I like the idea of fitness goals. How do you track calories burned monthly and miles walked?

I am starting Shred over today and want to add walking extra too now weather is better.

I print a paper calendar each month and write my goals on the top. Then each day I fill it out. I use a HRM to track my calories, and I use the MapMyWalk app on my phone to track the distance of each walk. I try to add the distance in my exercise notes and write it on my calendar as well. Then I just add up the totals each month.

Wow I love your dedication, you are really an inspiration. Such great ideas. I have an app on my phone that can track how much I walk too, never thought of tracking it like that tho, I always just track calories burned
