Looking for a good yoga video to start out with ( I'm NOT flexible, but is an area I want to improve on ). There are so many out there! Any suggestions?

  • From personal experience, I would suggest a class to just make sure that you aren't developing bad habits in regards to posture and forms.

There are some movies, but not a lot, on Netflix.
I have a beginners yoga DVD by Rodney Yee and I like it! I got it from Target for like ten bucks. They had plenty of other videos as well.
Also, there are many videos on Youtube!

I love to use Jillian Michaels Yoga Meltdown DVD because she does yoga positions with movement. I've had it for a while and it still makes me sweat! I also have Rodney Yee's Beginners Yoga DVD too and it's also amazing! More for stretching and relaxing.

I go to classes at a gym, but one of my friends does the yoga on the Wii fit. If you're not going to do a class where there's someone there to correct your stances, the Wii will give helpful advice.
