Any advice on what to do for a pulled muscle in your backside. Pulled it walking of all things, thought it was the safest exercise! Anyway, can hardly lift my leg or move it backwards. Any suggestions for stretches etc?

Good soak in warm tub with Epsom Salts.0

Gentle stretching. Warm baths or showers. Tylenol/Advil/Aleve for the pain. Rest. Work back into exercise slowly. Always stretch after a workout, even walking.0

I did the same thing on Easter Sunday, wasn't even doing anything (although I did some exercise after, which may have made the problem worse.) I have just been resting and trying not to stretch it in any way that hurts, and it is a lot better now. I still can't really move freely, but I can almost walk without limping and I was able to lift it enough to walk up the stairs today. Heat seems to help, but I would mostly try taking it easy for a few days.0

Put ice on it. Arnica Cream from the health food store will help some. Potassium will help eat lots of bananas and sweet potatoes.0
