I use to get these aweful cramps in my legs when i ran. I got new shoes still hurt. So i asked a pro ( my mom) and here is what i learned running at a 0% incline is an unnatural postion for your legs not only that the damn dreadmill is doing most of the work! The solution up the incline to at least a 2% incline. I think you will find it massivly improves those pesty shin splints and you will be working just a bit harder as well.
ps walkers this goes for you too
