Mentally fat? Is there such a thing?

Hi.
Over the past few months I've been peeking at one or two diaries with the intention of nicking any good ideas. While on the scrounge I have noticed that a lot of you eat, IMO, tiny dinners.
Like spaghetti on toast. Or 1 pretzel. Or a tin of soup.
My dinners are like war and peace. The ingredient list goes on and on and... You get my drift. So it got me thinking, surely I don't NEED all that extra food but I absolutely crave it.
My dinners are massive. Even if half the plate is taken up by salad it still had to be there otherwise I don't feel like I've eaten anything at all.
And I cannot make simple 3 ingredient meals. The more the merrier for me. I like lots of contrast and would find a plate full of one type of food boring.
I can forgo breakfast and lunch but no matter what, I have to have dinner and it has to be large.
I don't have any weight to lose but I'm starting to think I'm mentally fat. As in, I'm obsessed with large volumes of food after 6 pm.
Has anyone else got this disease or am I the only weirdo with this ??
