BEST Place to Live in the Bay Area

What is the best place to live in the bay area? Single, 33, about 2k a month rent. Work from home so commute isn't a big deal but would need a car.

    well....you have tons of great places...you have east bay like hayward. santa clara, milpitas...or you could live a bit more inland like dublin, and Pleasanton...then you could take the BART into san fran or oakland.

    I live in Oakland and we have the best weather, walk-able and great restaurants!

    Walnut Creek, Dublin or San Ramon - Have lived in these areas within the last ten years.
