Measurements?

September 2012, I had my physical done for work and weighed (according to their scale) 330 pounds. Last weigh-in (March 20), I weighed 302 pounds! March 2 I actually took my measurements and my neck was 18 inches, my waist was 50, and my hips were 63. Today I just measured again and I lost an inch in my neck and hips, but gained 3 inches in my waist? Is this possible or did I screw up the first waist measurement (I remeasured three times today, so I'm pretty sure it's accurate).
