I have an older Body Bugg, but should I get a FitBit?

I'm guessing this question or something like it has been asked before. I used my BB about 2 years ago to help me loose weight, stopped using it when I got to my goal, had a baby and now I'm trying to lose weight again. I would have to renew my subscription to BB which is $7/mo. For those of you who have either upgraded to a FitBit or have experience with an FB, what would you do? Should I just keep using the BB for $7/mo (it worked just fine for me last time), or should I save that money and get a FB? I've seen there is a new model coming out next month and I am intrigued. Should I wait for that one? And lastly, is there any sort of extra monthly fee or anything else I need to pay to get the maximum benefit of the FB? Thanks!

There's a premium service for fitbit but I don't use it. I have the One and really love it. I didn't really bother looking at the BB when I was deciding because I hate subscription services, you spend a lot of money on the BB and still have to pay?

I guess it depends how long you plan on using it. Fitbit will probably be cheaper in the long run.
