Hi just to introduce myself I discovered mfp a couple of months ago and since then I've used it Religiously and managed to lose 36 pounds. I need to lose another 100 pounds. I used to (10 years ago) do endurance mountain bike events and the odd Triathlon but due to personal circumstances let the weight pile on ( no one's fault but mine) I'm aiming to get my fitness back so that I can maybe consider racing again. I'm a Vegan (due to ethical reasons) I discovered what I sub consciously already new my diet was generally ok but my portion control was well out of control. I've found mfp a great tool to monitor myself and using that and increasing my exercise my weight is steadily coming off. Oh just to add I'm male and live in NE Scotland.
