Okay today instead of going to the gym I thought about going jogging outside but I also need to do my arm exercises. I usually use 10lbs weights but all I have at home are 8lbs could I just double my reps?

do them as a time under tension technique....meaning....3-4 seconds to lift, 3-4 seconds to lower you wont get as many reps doing it this way but will defnintely feel it as it recruits more muscle fibers because of the constant tension...0
