Domestic Goddess Challenge

One of my favorite ways to stay active is taking care of my home. It's not that I love cleaning but I feel like I'm killing two birds with one stone. I thought we could challenge each other with tasks around the house. My first task for everyone is to clean their sinks. Not just the dishes but really clean your sink till it looks it best. Get a toothbrush and scrub around the hardware even.

Once you finish a task you can post a new one for everyone. What do you think?

    Ok, I'm in! I haven't logged on to MFP in a looonnnggg time and really need to have a pal to 'check-in' daily to keep me honest! Gettin' to work on the sink now! Already have a load of laundry going and cat is fed.

    How about you come clean mine...then you are being active AND helping out another person. Think of how good that will make you feel!

    Once the sink is cleaned, I'm going to add to the challenge.... bathroom baseboards.
    We were talking at work the other day, and someone mentioned that dirty bathroom baseboards freak her out. I haven't cleaned mine in a LONG time. That is definitely on my list for today......... once I get home from work, that is.........

    I actually enjoy cleaning, because for once in my life I own a house, and am not renting, so I always want it to look it's best. It drives my husband nuts because it is definately OCD for me to find something to clean every day. I think a good challenge would be some window cleaning, especially after the long winter we've had.

    A baseboard is the wood around the bottom of the walls.

    Ahhh, we call these skirting boards in Australia! Ok my bathroom has tiles on the floor and walls, so no baseboards, but the rest of the house has them! I might just do the hallway boards!
