Are chewable multivitamins absorbed as well?

Are the chewables absored as well as regular vitamins? And yes, I know the best way to get vitamins is from your food... but that is not what I am asking. I'd like to take a multivitamin daily but I struggle with big pills.

I did buy a bottle of Alive! liquid multivitamin, and the taste was ok... however it gave me insomnia for some reason. Anyone know why? It did say "energy" on the bottle but I never did figure out which ingredient kept me awake.

    forgot to add I would rather take the ones that are sort of like adult Flintstones... not the gummy chewy kind.
