Looking to buy a gps, and wondering what you all have had good/ bad luck with? I dont need anything to high-tec, just something to tell me what mileage and pace Im at.

I just got the Garmin Forerunner 110 and I love it. It just does pace, distance and has a chest strap HRM so it tells me calories. It's easy to use. While all those features of the higher end GPS watches are awesome, at the end of the day I won't use them and so it wasn't worth the extra money.
Oh and if acurate calories aren't a big deal to you, I used to use a New Balance GPS watch that was even cheaper. Did pace, speed, distance and it would estimate calories. The GPS was pretty acurate, it was just kind of slow to sync to satellites.0 -
I agree, the Garmin Forerunner 110 is the way to go. I also use the NIke + Running GPS app on my smartphone if you want a cheaper way but I do like the idea of a watch instead of having to run with my phone in my hand or the kangaroo pocket in my hoodie.0
