1 year progress - triathlete/runner down 21 pounds

Hi everyone!
While running a 30k race in March 2012, I was thinking “Enough is enough! I need to lose weight!” I mentioned this to my family doctor, she suggested MFP, and I joined in early April 2012.
As a runner and triathlete I was already working out 6 days a week, so I knew that to lose weight I just needed to eat a little less of my already healthy diet. Easier said than done.
One year later, I haven’t met my initial goal to lose 30 pounds, but I have lost 21 and I’m on my way there. I lost weight for the first few months but then held steady for months and months. I recently reduced my daily calorie goal and have started losing again.
I’ve lost about 1 ½ inches in my arms, hips and thighs, and about 2 inches in my chest and waist.
I will set a new goal once I reach this initial one!
