NSV!

I joined a challenge group with a few friends, and I decided to start off small. The goal (among other workouts for the day) was to walk 5 miles, and I had decided that I would only do 2, since I haven't been working out lately. As I was walking, I decided there was no way I COULDN'T walk 5 miles...so not only did I continue after the 2nd mile, but I kept a steady pace for the first 4 miles of 4 mph, and the 5th and final mile, I sped up for a little bit of an extra workout at 4.6 mph. I beat the negative voices in my head telling me I couldn't do it, and I just did it. The rest of the workout was 25 fire hydrants on each leg, 30 lunges on each leg, and 30 pushups. I did it all, and still stayed under my calorie goal!

Thanks! Super sore today, but pushing on! The goal today is 4 miles, 40 wood-chops on each side, 40 burpees, 50 calf-raises, and 25 T-bars. Planning on doing it all! The ultimate goal on the miles is to walk, jog, run, bike, whatever you can do 100 miles by the end of April.

Those voices in your head are amazing. I wanted to quit today and then I thought why, does your body hurt, can you not breathe? After a no to both of those, I finally completed C25K W5D3 after the 3rd attempt. I knew I was weak physically b/f starting all this, but thought I was strong mentally. Both are growing incrementally-thanks for the reminder.
