Hi all! I am new to myfitnesspal and I really love it so far! I am a runner, I just completed my first half marathon in March and I'm now training for my first full marathon in October!!
My struggle is eating!! I was eating great when I was training for my half marathon but when i got back from it I wanted to eat what I wanted plus i wasnt running! Now I am having a hard time getting back to eating healthy and running too!
I am also starting the beachbody program called INSANITY! it looks like it's going to be killer but the results will be SO worth it!!
I am 5'3" and weigh 127lbs currently. My goal weight is 110-115lbs! I know I can achieve this!! I MUST!
Add me! I'd love to have some friends for motivation & accountability!
Good luck to all!

So you are healthy, but would like to be healthier. Makes sense!
Concerning food: I have learned to gorge on fruits and veggies in order to lose my weight--hopefully, I will stick to that program once I reach my goal weight (10 more pounds to go).
For those who cannot eat raw fruit without gagging--that would be me--slice the fruit and blend it totally into a cup of diet or light fruit juice. This way, I get the fiber and the juice covers up that sour/bitter taste of the raw fruit.
For the veggies, I cook them into soups or blend them into a sauce and use them as a spaghetti or pizza sauce.
All my milk products are fat-free, and I use fat-free plain yogurt in so many ways, and my meats are on the lean side.
I am full at the end of the evening and I usually still have calories left.
I also factor in totally blowing my calorie limit about once per month. The body loves it and is assured that I am not starving.
Does that help you in your eating plans? Or have I just bored you to death!
Have fun with your beach body.0 -
I just finished Round One of Insanity - and it's AMAZING. I lost 20 lbs and 21 inches.. in 60 days.. and I'm a 'nibbler'.
I just started Round Two - if you want a workout buddy, let me know.. would be happy to help motivate. If you want to read my journal, I tried to post a little after each workout. You can see online at teambeachbody.com/tairui2009 under 'journal'.0 -
