Flex vs Polar Watch

There's so much technology out there that it's scary
I was thinking of getting the FT4 Polar watch its afordable and I've heard great things from friends but then I read on here about the flex which is coming out next month :/ Opinions anyone?

Does the flex track your heart rate? is the calorie count going to be accurate?

I have a Polar Ft4 and I love it. I think it's a great tool for monitoring your exercise when running outdoors or doing a group fitness class at the gym. I have also purchased the Flex Fitbit that comes out in May mainly because I struggle with insomnia and like the idea of having a sleep monitor. I'm also a waitress and want to use it monitor my calories burned while on my feet working 8hrs a day. To my knowledge, there is no heart rate monitor with the Flex Fitbit. I may be wrong, but i was under the impression that the Fitbit is mainly used to calculate daily steps taken, stairs climbed, calories burned while sleeping/relaxing. I'm not entirely sure that its' purpose is to be used during intense cardio workouts. I may be wrong. I bought the Flex because it didn't seem realistic to wear my Polar watch/HRM belt daily to monitor my daily calories burned while working or at school. I've also heard from other people with Fitbits that they find it extremely motivating to be conscious of your daily steps taken/calories burned doing regular activities. People say it motivates them to be more activate and take the stairs instead of the elevator.
