No Hill Walking in "Add Exercise" why?

Hi

This was my first attempt at hill walking and i loved it but my body is aching.

I spent four and a half hours walking not climbing in the scottish mountains yesterday. It started with a nice walk up forest tracks then onto rock paths finishing 3000ft up in a " Munro" in snow and ice.

When i went to log my hard earned efforts in "add exercise" all thats available is slow walking 2mph or walking uphill at 3.5 mph. Both of these speeds give a false calorie count and not relevant to my average speed yesterday.

i was wearing a gps watch that gave me a better result for my calorie burn.

so come on MFP lets get our outdoor activites such as rambling, trekking or hill walking available in add exercise.

Mostly. The Sierra are so beautiful. A few, however, are from canyoneering/backpacking in Zion NP in Utah.

I took my wife to california for her 40th birthday in 2004 but we did all the tourist stuff.

What are the heights of the mountain ranges?

    regards
