Lean guys out there with ripped abs, when you are cutting do you cut down the sets of your weight training? I'm currently doing 5x5 should I reduce it to 3x5?

It's not uncommon to cut down overall volume, especially from accessory lifts. Assuming you're following a reasonably standard 5x5 program, I wouldn't cut down anything.0

Even though its touted you only need 1/3 of the volume to maintain muscle mass on a cut provided the intensity remains the same, stick with the program that got you the gains in the first place.0
