Do you take a protein shake pre w/o

10oz of vanilla/chocolate almond milk
protein powder(obviously)
frozen strawberries
banana
a handfull of spinach
2 tablespoons of instant coffee

I take it throughout my workout :)

    Usually post workout to rebuild and rehydrate.

    30 Minutes Before...
    Muscle Pharm Combat 1 Scoop
    1 Cup Almond Milk
    2 Scoops Con-Cret Creatin HCl
    1 Scoop Glutamine

    Then 20 Minutes before...

    1 Scoop NO Xplode
    2 Scoop Con-Cret


    Then within 15 minutes after
    Muscle Pharm Combat 1 Scoop
    Muscle Pharm Casein 1 Scoop
    1.5 Cups Almond Milk
    2 Scoops Con-Cret Creatin HCl
    1 Scoop Glutamine

    Different strokes for different folks. I personally would puke if I had a protein shake BEFORE my workout. I prefer sticking with after =)

    I workout/lift fasted. I usually workout 14 hours after last consuming calories (coffee and water only in the mornings) then break my fast at 16 hours. :noway: For realz.
  • I never do but that is just because it will upset my stomach. I always take mine post.

    I dont think I have tried any pre work out ... MO Xplode, C4, Muscle Pharm Assualt, or Super Pump that I would say "WOW this is delicious" ... I just ended up with the NO Xplode because they were selling it on Woot.com two containers for 19.99 and its not the worst one I ever tasted I just don't like how you are supposed to stir it and not shake it because of the delivery system.

    I get a stitch if I drink or eat before running so tend to have something after. Maximuscle diet shake - it has green tea.

    Dymatize BCAA formula in grape helps me when training fasted; tastes good too :smile:

    No Xplode makes me feel like a crack head all jittery.

    I take it both pre and post workout because I can insure my muscles aren't getting burnt from the workout but also add more replenishment thereafter!

    I take BLOX bcaa's or "silk aminos" which taste amazing too
