30DS question

Hi everyone!

I did day 2 of level 2 last night of the 30DS, but I am not liking it. The planks really kill my arms. I have tendonitits in my shoulder from my days in softball and every so often my shoulders hurt. My question is, do I have to move to level 2 or can I stay in 1. I dont wanna sound like a whimp because I am loving the workouts (love the military press), but I am really uncomfrotable during the planks. Any suggestions would be most appreciated. Oh I also need friends so feel free to add me.
