any of you have it or going to take the PE soon? :glasses:

I'm sitting it this fall and I'm scared to death. would love to have someone to talk to, support each other, share tips and study schedules, etc.

  • took the PE a few years ago (Chemical Engineer) and thought the EIT (FE) was actually harder since it covered all disciplines

I used a lot of NCEES practice exams for preparation - check different states around you because each state allows different reference material during the test - you will also want to find out about reciprocity in other states because you don't want to have to take the test twice if you move argghh :)

www.ppi2pass.com - they have a lot of great books

    Good luck!

    Which discipline and state?

I second the ppi2pass references. They are extremely popular and I found they prepared me well for the exam.
edit: I brought other books with me, but only used the reference book from ppi2pass during the test.

I'm a registered PE in California (Mechanical) and did my PE about 4 years ago.
