i have been eating pretty clean and i gotta say going on 6 weeks now... and i NEVER have sweets. i have been thinking morning night and noon about pastries and cakes, cup cakes, chocolate, so i am going to make canoli's tonight using waffle cones and ricotta cheese ... but if i dont cave here and there i know things will only get worse . so i am confessing my planned 5 hours in advance binge lol. but i am going to work my butt off in the gym prior ofcourse :0)

hey, there's nothing wrong with a bit of a splurge if/when it fits into your calorie budget (or about once a week or so even if it doesn't). everything in moderation, OP. it's easier and healthier to keep them in your regular diet so you don't completely (like 3000 calorie) binge when you do cave.0

If you can do it and wont put you back into a binge cycle great. If you that as an excuse to support a food addiction then not so great. Enjoy your binge though. Remember to eat slowly, drink water, enjoy each bite, think about the tastes and texture. Think about the spiritual aspects what these foods mean to you, what they used to mean to you, and the place you see them in your life in the future.
After your binge remember it all goes in the trash can!0 -
Yeh cheat day :drinker:
I had them during my dieting, and still do during maintenance. Would take at least one day a month and eat whatever I liked and not log it. I never had any problem getting back on the diet and never felt guilty. Sometimes I learnt valuable lessons from cheat days, i.e. bad food hangovers and that I no longer like pizza with cheese on (OMG).
Enjoy your canolis.0 -
my husband and i go out once a week and eat one meal that is moderately unhealthy, but i mean its still like chicken and mashed potatoes but they might have a cheese sauce... i have no interest in eating junk often. usually makes me feel ill honestly. but i just cant stop thinking about sweets. usually i have a banana with peanut butter or something but weve been all out of fruit for almost a week. we only have one car, im a stay at home mom, and my husband has been working late until 9pm so i havent had a chance to pick anything up. but i do today, and canoli's it is lol. thank you all for your encouragement :0)0

A small splurge is okay but, don't let it turn into a full blown binge. That is what I am working on. I want to go out
Have a glass of wine a little something and go to bed withou the binge. I get to test it Friday night
We can do it!!!0
