I've read about this and I'm curious what experiences people have had with this. Was it effective for you?

I have no idea what this is, but when someone who knows responds, I will be happy to find out.0

According to HST, when muscles are worked and damaged, they 1-repair, and 2-become tougher and more resistant to damage. This results in diminishing returns, to the point where the amount you can lift isn't enough to cause damage/growth. SD is when you take a couple of weeks off from lifting. The muscles are then supposed to partially decondition, losing some strength but becoming more susceptible to damage again. The idea is that you can break through plateaus this way. (I assume that "deloading" works for the same reason but is just a less extreme form of deconditioning.)I have no idea what this is, but when someone who knows responds, I will be happy to find out.0 -
