What are some pros & cons to living where you live?
I'm from Sacramento, CA.
It's a pretty nice city.
Pros:
-Lots of shopping areas.
-Lots of history involved with the Transcontinental Rail Road came out of my city.
-Nice weather year around. (Cali FTW!)
-There's lots of diversity.
-Good neighborhoods.
-Sacramento is intersected with lots of highways throughout California.
1.) I-5:
Go down I-5 it'll take you down to places like San Diego/Los Angeles (I-5 South).
Go up I-5 it'll take you up to the Rocky Mountains, Yosemite, Chico, etc.
2.) I-80:
Go up and you got Davis, Wood Land, the Bay Area, etc.
(ex: San Francisco, Berkeley, Richmond, Oakland, Palo Alto, Fairfield, San Jose, etc.)
3.) I-50:
Go up and you got places like Placerville, Modesto, Lake Tahoe, Reno [Though Reno connects on another part of I-80.],etc.
4.) I-99:
Takes you to many places throughout Sacramento but can go as high as Fresno.
etc.
Cons:
-California is known for having a lot of crime.
-California has a lot of prisons per capita then a lot of states do.
(I saw San Quentin Prison/Alcatraz from a distance. Looks scary.)
-Gun Laws in this state suck.
(Despite that the criminals are better armed and leave their states citizens defenseless in a lot of ways on fire power.)
-California doesn't have the best drivers in the world.
(SMH.)
Overall nice place.
Great area to live in and raise a family.

I'm hoping one day to move to San Diego, CA.
