Anyone else finding themselves not using Facebook as much since MFP? Finding it to be stupid with all the dang wall feeds and marketing. I'm using this site more along with LinkedIn.

::Laughs:: I used to LIVE on facebook for the games, then semester started, and I had to cut back. Then, I discovered the social side of MFP, which drove the nails in the coffin for FB. The only time I bring it up is when family tells me I HAVE To check it because of some story being shared around.

I don't use it any less. I like having my weight loss friends and my "regular" friends. There is some crossover. Some people who mean well will say things and I don't want to hear it. You know the "you sure you can eat that?" type thing.

I use MFP and my Facebook gets logged on maybe once a week, I never used it much to begin with.

I hardly ever log into facebook anymore... MFP keeps me MOTIVATED, i can get on it from work, and I have learned so much. When is the last time you learned something from facebook, besides who is mad at who and where someone ate lunch? I have lost interest in facebook and only log on maybe once or twice a month.

I deleted my facebook page a couple of years ago. I don't miss it.

I gave up facebook for Lent and since Easter Sunday, I have been on maybe once or twice. I was totally obsessed with it, had the app on my phone and was on a dozen or so times a day, which was why it was my choice for Lent this year. I don't miss it; now, if only I could cure my addiction to certain foods that easily!!

Facebook is how I keep in touch with family since I'm the one who moved away from the pack. and since my sone is overseas in a different time zone, I can sometime catch him online and chat easier than a phone call when its morning for him and middle of the nigh for me!

I have never joined the banned wagon for FB, so for all of you that don't have FB I support you.

Definitely staying away from FB more, because I cannot post a lot about my new healthy lifestyle without people being arses about it. I do however go on Twitter a lot, still.
