Cellulite - tips and tricks

Ok, I’ve got an eating plan sorted and I’m dropping weight at a sensible rate which is brilliant.

The next step is exercise. All I've been doing so far is walking.

My trouble area is my bottom and the back of my thighs - cellulite central!

Does anyone have any tips or specific exercises that will combat these areas?

Any ideas are welcome!

Thanks.

I have cellulite on those areas too. I have seen it reduce over the past couple of months. Here is what i do:

    1. Drink plenty of water. I always use my urine as an indicator, nice and light to clear is what I aim for. i drink 1.5 litres during 8 hours at work and usually the same between when I get home and go to sleep.

    2. Exercise, yes that old chest nut. I started doing strength training 5 weeks ago and it is really since then i've felt my muscles and skin tone feel firmer. You can do squats, lunges using bodyweight and add some dumbell weight when that gets too easy.

    3. I think most of my reduction is also down to dry brushing all of my thights and butt twice a day. I have a round brush with massagers and bristles. I do it for 5 minutes. I use a firming lotion afterwards. the extra massaging can't hurt.

    4. I've started eating more clean but I can't comment on that as i've only started. I don't eat really any chocolate or processed sugars now but will do if i fancy them as a treat from time to time.

I have took a before picture at the start of this month. I'm going to take another at the end to see if there is any difference. I'm also doing the 30 day squat challenge.

YES to all of this! And, for me, coconut oil. I started using it in place of moisturiser a few months ago and have really noticed the difference - combined with exercise and dry brushing, totally zapping the cellulite (or at least the visibility of it!). It's expensive, but cheaper than most specially formulated cellulite reducing moisturisers, and no dubious chemicals - so worth it, in my opinion :)

I have coconut oil as well so might try that as a bonus!
