Any other bored eaters??

I have this problem as well and one thing that has helped is - NOT having snacks available. If the ice cream is in the freezer, then it's going to call my name, bored or not. I have to take the "out of sight, out of mind" approach. If I really want to snack, then I would have to go to 7-Eleven.
Also, if you're a person of faith, I suggest saying a little prayer or meditation as that has helped me as well. Somehow, praying for someone else (and there's always someone) has helped or at least staved off boredom.

Try to eat things that take longer to consume. Such as dry cheerios or 100 calorie packs of popcorn. And eat on at a time0
