how fast will i see results

I just started eating healthier and working out 4 days ago :) I guess i am just so used to failing that I am anxious about seeing results..Anyone want to share how long it took to start feeling or seeing results :)

    I saw results immediately, but I am also very very overweight, so that will happen for the first week or two. I know some people who notice a pound or two gone within the first couple of days, and I know some people who only lose one pound after the first week. But, if you're the type to obsess about the numbers, I would skip weighing yourself every day, because it will drive you mad! :laugh:

    If you tell yourself that you are used to failing, you're going to fail in the long run. That is all in the past now, and if you want to do this for the long term, you've got to stop waiting for that next pound because once you get to your goal weight, you still have to watch what you eat and maintain a healthy lifestyle :) I may not be the best person to be giving advice, but, I was the same way. Don't set yourself up to be anxious or to think you'll fail. I've noticed on your profile you've already lost a pound, and that's a start because everything from now on will be even lower than this number. :)

    I started jan 1st...I make and bag everything I can eat the night before so I wont make bad choices. I relized I get out of it what I put into it. GOOD LUCK

    I guess it depends on how much weight you need to lose. It took about 3 weeks for me to see the scale moving downward and it was usually less than a pound at a time. Just keep at it. :smile:

    There's a saying I like. It's not a hard and fast rule, but as a general, it does work.

    4 weeks for you to notice. 8 weeks for your friends to notice. 12 weeks for the world to notice.

    I'm at the end of my second week of eating better and going to the gym 4 times a week and I have already lost 5lbs and inches! I can definitely see more definition in my arms and thighs. Keep going and you'll start seeing results soon.

    You will see results as soon as you see the results.

    Everyone is different. I felt the results after 1 day of working out - energy boost like you wouldn't believe. Saw results the next morning - dropped 2 lbs.

    I saw results in 2 weeks when pants I bought the day before I started to diet were so loose that they fell down to my knees while I was walking. I of course bought a belt that day. Now I feel it every time I put my hands on my waist.
