Grr! Okay so to cut a long, long story short - I'm currently aiming for 2000 calories a day because I suffer with binge eating, and the biggest way to tackle this is to not deprive myself (too much!) I'm almost certain that I'm losing weight at the moment (20lb to go!) but I get so, so discouraged when I read about celebrities and what they've done to lose weight/etc.
For example, today I read that Jessica Alba lost all of her baby weight on 1200 calories a day, WHILST exercising! (Yes, she is quoted saying this...) Now I know she's a celebrity and she has the power/personal trainers/personal chefs to be able to do that and succeed - but it just sends me into a state of panic! I immediately want to jump on the 1200 wagon - even though I know that it's nearly impossible for me to keep to that low a number without later binge-eating my face off.
I'm not sure if there's any advice out there for this sort of thing - I guess the main one would be to STOP READING ****TY CELEBRITY NEWS ON THE INTERNET - hah, but it's so hard! I'm a bit of a gossip-addict...

She's also quoted as saying she never puts on weight in the first place so she doesn't have to lose it, that she eats chocolate cake, has a personal trainer, cooks for herself, doesn't overindulge and is always active every day. She started as a slim teenager, she's maintained that to keep her career going.
I'm sure you'd feel more motivated if there were five million dollars in it for you as well.
But you aren't and won't be offered that much. So revel in being normal, that you make your salary whatever size and change the way that suits you, not a multimillionaire actress.0
