Just an estimate, how many calories do you think are burnt walking 9 holes on an average golf course, while carrying clubs? I'm a lousy golfer too, so I swing my club around 60 times per 9..:grumble:

600-700 based on your weight and how straight you hit the ball

This site has a LOT of activities and it DOES use your weight in the calculations

I never really log it or track it...I just figure it's enough to enjoy a couple beers at the club house afterwards.

New Holland. I just played my first 18 of the year today at Hawk Valley riding. That link I gave you wants to give me 1155. MFP wants to give me 1157. I think I will take 500 for it

Another approach you might take is to weigh your clubs. Add that to your weight and use that calculator (or another) and use this total weight and Walking 2 MPH or so?

about 50-120 an hour. give or take. The quotes from that site include BMR, so are very misleading. the average person burns 2-3cal/min just existing standing around. a light walk is less than 2cal/min.
