Shoes for Walking

When the sun finally came out this week I went outside for a walk. As soon as I did, realized my old shoes were not adequate for the job. Does anyone have suggestions for women's walking shoes. I am overweight, so I need to take that into consideration.

    I get a new pair every year, and I recently discovered that I've been overdoing it. My shoes have been so heavy duty that they barely bend. Consequently, I've had some foot problems. I went to a specialty shop to get fitted, and surprisingly I preferred the $40 sauconys to the asics. I've been loving my new sneaks.
