Can I lose calories this way effectively?

I ate a big dinner tonight since I went out with the family and am wondering should I work out now or can I work out in the morning and lose calories from the dinner? Which makes more of a difference, if I exercise now or in the morning? Thanks

I count calories burned from exercise weekly, not daily. I don't think it matters either.

i don't think it matters. You're not going to gain weight overnight from a big dinner.

It doesn't matter. When you burn calories, you aren't actually burning off the most recent thing that you just ate. You won't burn off this particular meal. Look at what you eat over the entire week, and what you burn over the entire week.

agreed. try not to think of your exercise and your food as a quid pro quo situation.
