If you consistently have a deficit can you splurge?

Let's say that every day for the past week you've burned 300 calories, but didn't eat them. So in all, you've burned 2100 calories that you haven't eaten back. If you were to have a "splurge meal'" of about 800-1000 calories would it affect your weight loss for that week? Or does it make sense that because you saved room for the calories you shouldn't have to worry about going over on one day?

At the end of the week, if you ate those 300 cals each day or ate the 2100 cals on one day, would your weekly total be the same?

    ;)

For some reason on the weeks that I eat back my exercise calories but net at 1200, I don't lose weight. So I thought maybe eating back the calories affected my weight loss?

I eat 1500 net cals monday to thursday so I can eat 1800-2200 (and sometimes a bit more haha) on the weekends.

If your goal of 1200 cals is set up based on MFP's suggestion, you should probably eat back your exercise cals. If you're having issues losing, then giving some info might help others suggest what might be the cause.

Do you feel you're eating enough to satisfy your hunger in general?

Oh definitely. I eat at regular intervals and I never really find myself feeling hungry.

I do this to, love to have the extra calories at the weekend. Still under or hit weekly goal and hasn't stopped me losing weight!
