Food and Liquid?

Last night I made an Indian Meal - it was fantastic, even though I say it myself! Lots of lovely spices, chillies, garlic.....mmmmm!

But I have also realised since loosing the weight, that there are certain foods that I don't like! Now back over Easter Weekend, have deprived myself of "chocolate" (real chocolate that you unwrap and its all chocolate - for 10months) . I felt should have some, my body digestion didn't like it much though!

Last night I had chocolate after the meal, an in fact I have come to the conclusion that I don't really like chocolate any more! It's something to do with the texture....

But from last night meal, I have discovered that I like raw Beetroot, as I made this Beetroot Raita, which basically is "Raw Beetroot, yogurt and spices" - Fantastic. I had never had raw beetroot, only ever had it cooked, and roasted - which is also very nice. BUT try it raw.

I have also given up booze of any sort ,I find it doesn't interested me, but I love water! I think it troubles others more than it does me! It's like I can't go out and enjoy myself, unless I have a serious drink! ( Wine, Spirits, Champagne, etc..). BUT I do insist that my WATER in served in a Wine Glass, as usually those type of glasses are lovely designs. I like the feel of the glass in my hand. But when out and about people think I always want my water served in an average "Kitchen Glass". I still want to feel special even though all I am having is "Just water"!

I

So what item of food have you given up and realised you perhaps don't like as much as you thought you did?
Or perhaps got into the habit of having that item of food?
What item of food have tried for the first time, and realised you like it?

I haven't given up any foods.

And I sure as heck put wine in my wine glass.

I did try kangaroo though and it was scrumptious and also has a good amount of natural CLA.
