It's hard to say.. the justice system is horrible all around the world, it could go either way IMO.
I haven't really been watching but I remember Dateline did a segment on her case a couple of years ago and her name was brought up on television yesterday.0 -
Oh my I just find it so interesting, mainly as she can't recall so much or they think she is a liar.
We don't get this channel, and now don't want it as I keep up on it each time I go to gym and bike. So interesting
to bike to , as I don't want to stop biking.0 -
I watch it. It's my opinion that she is telling so many lies she's probably going to be found guilty. Did we really have to hear the details of just about every sexual encounter she ever had?0
-
I deal with it every day because I live in the area. I think she is making a mockery of the justice system and is offensive to those who suffer, truly suffer, from PTSD because of being a battered woman. It infuriates me to hear her experts and her attorneys use that as an excuse for what she did. Her story doesn't make sense; hasn't from the beginning. I often wonder if she suffers from some sort of psychosis or if she wasn't just trying to work the system from the get-go knowing she would be going to trial. I don't wish death upon anyone, but am a God-fearing woman and believe in an eye for an eye. I honestly can't wait for the trial to be over and the sensationalism to be gone right along with it. I feel like it's another Casey Anthony all over again; just hoping for a different outcome this time around.0

I agree0 -
I haven't been watching the trial but I've done some reading...I just don't see how any juror could find her anything but guilty of premeditated murder. I mean, she covered her tracks when she went across state lines to see him (rental car, no credit cards, turned her phone off), took her grandfather's gun with her (yeah, it was "stolen" a couple of weeks before...and .25 caliber guns are so common - not), stabbed him 29 times, cut his throat almost to the point of decapitation, shot him for good measure, then stuffed his body into the shower - probably to wash evidence off. Then she got rid of the knife and gun, went home and acted like nothing happened, lied repeatedly to the police until there was just too much evidence and she had to admit she did it. Which part is self-defense?
But then I thought OJ and Casey Anthony were pretty cut and dried, too. And look how those turned out.0 -
I am following it. I think she'll be found not guilty as much as I hate to say that. I really have little faith in our justice system after Casey Anthony walked free.0

<channelling the "Dead BIshop" skit from Monty Python>
"Society is to blame!"
Is anyone every held accountable for anything anymore?0 -
 I enjoyed reading everyones thoughts etc.great points and humor.
I need a tv in my garage so I too can watch and exercise at same time.and therefore not feel quilty-for philandering (?)as i am watching alot(taping it and watching later)
Though a serious subject it is just about a 3 ring circus.I thought when the domestic violence experts paper was referenced entitled something about snow white it really got hilaroius, accept that they had the wrong fairy tale-its more like Pinocchio.
I am just totally fascinated by psychology and shouldve been a social worker.so yeah im interested and What i like the most are the talking heads on dr drew etc. like the human lie detector etc who explains body language
On a more serious note the experts explanation of abusive relationships and the stages/types and cycle of domestic violence has been superb like a college course or what yrs of counseling/therapy can do reduced to a few days.
i too have also lost faith in the legal system after OJ and have a personal beef about it from personal experience and having spent lots of money in court with a ex husband stalker who just like oj, wasnt the least bit jealous for 24 prior yrs of marriage TILL I left him. our system needs totally changed.an EPO does nothing to a crazy person but make them more dangerous.sticking them in jail when they slash tires at the beginnign of their craziness might help (something never doen unless there are actual videos taken) but yeah i know the jails are full.Mandatory counseling is also a good option but doesnt always work,as my ex also proved..:noway: I had to move 600 miles away as i was more victimized by the court sysytem as i was him. He only ever got 2 months in jail wiith work release during the day-which took me 1 yr and a half to even get that adn 1000s of dollars..
I think this stuff should be taught to adolescents aboout hwo to tell a healthy relationship and signs and symptoms of abusive relationships and hwo physical violence is not the only type.As kids dont always listen to their parents
Thank god my ngihtmare ended well -me and my new hubby bf at the time are alive and well livng happily ever after
r far far away. He is worth every minute of trouble I had,, :flowerforyou:
I wish the victim here, travis had known to leave her alone sooner in this unhealthy relationship before it escalated to the final stages. Im also glad his new girlfriend or no one else was murdered too. what a shame.0 -

You'd be surprised... I cried when the state of Georgia executed Troy Anthony Davis. Obviously innocent, even jurors thought so.. They let Casey Anthony roam free.0 -
Anyone else totally following this real life crime drama?0
-
this is still going on? she testified like a month ago. lol0
-
^ yeah closing arguments. Totally dramatic.0
-
If she isn't found guilty then I don't know what is wrong with our justice system. She needs to die for what she did.0
-
Verdict is in!0
-
I hope she's found GUILTY! Please not another Casey Anthony.0

i was HOOKED on the casey anthony case. disgustingly, stupidly hooked.
i wish i could get to see more on the jodi arias case, because what little i have seen in the break room at work seems pretty interesting. i don't own a tv.
she's obvioulsy hiding something because she is always so controlled and expressionless. she doesn't respond facially, naturally, like a 'normal' person.
some day we r gonna have polygraphs or whatever sophiticated enough to determine our guilt or innocence based solely upon our physiological responses to accusations/questions. i believe.0 -
Found guilty. Good. I don't think there should be a death penalty. But, I won't cry if the jury comes back with that.0
-
Thank God this trial is over.0
-
I absolutely cannot stand Nancy Grace. Despicable creature. I believe she is the only person I hate more than Oprah.0
