Fat loss, Weight gain?

Hello everyone,
I usually do not post on the forums but I am quite confused about my current situation. So far I have lost a lot of fat over the past few months (I did not measure my waist or anything, but it is very clear from an old picture of mine), but my weight has increased by 1 kg (2.2 lbs). Yes I go to the gym and eat accordingly but it is kinda weird. Is this because of the muscle gain or am I doing something horrifically wrong?

water, sodium or carb related. if you're sure you eat below maintenance, it is NOT fat. this stuff happens, dunno why.
again, usually water.
