I'm full so I ate too much.

Obviously, that's not true. But my brain keeps telling me it is.

Dinner is my large meal of the day...tonight I had:

A small dinner salad
1 chicken breast with salsa and a bit of pepper jack cheese
1/2 roasted corn
1 cup of black beans

I'm so stuffed...so, my brain keeps saying "KERRIE! YOU ATE TOO MUCH! THERE'S NO WAY ALL THAT WAS ONLY 650 CALORIES!!!"

It was...I double checked...

Seriously, it's got to be a psychological thing, yes?

That is exactly it. When you eat good food, you can eat so much more of it for way less calories. Our stomache doesn't care, it just knows when it is full. Wouldn't it be great if our bodies told us when we were full by the amount of calories we ate, not in the amount?
