Can someone please direct me re: TDEE?

I have tried to find a thread or posts that explain what exactly TDEE is. I keep seeing people post about it, and I would love to learn more. Maybe it's me, but when I search, tons of conversations come up, but not specifics on what it is and how it works. Thanks!

Edit: I answered nothing! lol... Check out the website TDEE= Total Daily Energy Expenditure. Calculate what you need for your body to go on being as it is and then take 10-20% off that number. Eat it everyday=lose weight. Calories in < Calories out + Strength training= Smokin hot bod0 -
